Too often role-play servers are tightly controlled, with strict rules against aggressive actions and banditry. In our experience these limitations ruin the role play experience. We hope to simply set a stage and allow you all to bring the world to life with your own stories. What we are doing is creating a backstory for our server, for our Chernarus. It goes something like this:

DayZ happened in the summer of 2015. When the infection hit the population the government couldn’t even slow the outbreak. Civilization soon fell to ruins with the massive corporations picking through the scraps and piecing together small city states; violently vying for resources but secure from the infection.

A handful of years later and the children to survive the fall are those struggling to live through the aftermath. The wilds have become home to the tribal and brutal, leaving all but the hardest as carrion or walking dead. Come to our vision of Chernarus. Join in our role-play or create your own on our persistent private shard.

1. Even though this is a role-play encouraged server, we understand that PVP is still part of role-play. We want DayZ to be organic, so play as you like. As long as you have a role to play in the server.

2. Do NOT complain about KOS. If you feel aggrieved then take revenge, or put out a hit on a player. Keep it in game!

3. Please keep kill/death posts role-play oriented.
