Haste [FastCraft/Slp/Share/Kit/PVP/Rare Loot]

I just wanted to give any of you that happen to still have interest in the server a heads up that it's very unlikely I will be renewing the server's rental in the upcoming week or so.

There are a variety of reasons for this. Rust is still in alpha, and as such, much is subject to change. At the moment, it seems players either lose interest in Rust or get upset and leave, or try another server, when they lose their hard work. Unfortunately, Rust would not be Rust (to me) without the PVP and raiding element.

Unfortunately, I prefer a steady playerbase where everyone gets to know one another and sticks around. I have no interest in having a large population server in which the rate that new players join is roughly the same as old players leave, which seems to be the case with most of the more popular servers in the game at the moment.

On top of all of this, keeping mod framework and modifications themselves up-to-date and error-free is a painstaking process forced upon server admins along with every Rust update, and sometimes in between, because the framework must be updated each time.

With renting a Rust server currently, I am paying $20 per month with no benefit, more or less. I am not playing the game much and our playerbase is dwindling. When we do get new players, they leave when they are raided or killed. I can't justify continuing to pay a fee with no incentive for doing so.

If someone were to have any interest in donating and advertising to keep the server going for Rust's present development stages, let me know. Otherwise, it was fun while it lasted.
