Updated Route Map

We have updated the special schematic map of the expanded route showing all passenger and goods destinations, as well as military lines and private sidings. It also shows which sections of the track are electrified.

The map includes water and fuel points plus destinations with coal and container/conflat freight dynamic loading/unloading facilities.

Drop off and pick up points for cattle freight are also marked.

The workshop preview version of the route has been removed. The route is being extended and remodeled. All updates and additions will be in the official release version when it becomes available in the not too distant future. In the meantime I shall be posting a few screenshots of the progress for anyone interested.

A Tip for Workshop Route Publishers

Make a link from your route to all its workshop scenarios. Once created, the link should be placed in your route's description section.

Workshop Scenarios Menu - Enhanced

The above menu lets you browse scenarios by difficulty (0 to 5), duration (from 5 to 300 mins), power type (steam, diesel or electric), region, routes required (official as well as Workshop) or locos needed.

Route updated. Improved user accessibility by removing 2 items of required DLC, namely the BR Class 402 '2-HAL' EMU Add-On and the Stroudley A1/A1X Class 'Terrier' Steam Loco Add-On. These no longer appear in the supplied Quick Drive. Scenario-makers may still optionally include these as needed for individual scenarios of course, but they are no longer required DLC for the base route itself.
