Medieval Gamers United, or {MgU}, is primarily for the support and spread of publicity for medieval games and to provide a wholesome, mature comunity for the players. We want our members to act mature, not just within the group, but in all your gaming and daily life. It makes us better people, and makes our pastime of gaming more enjoyable. Medieval themed games are, if you like, the best of the gaming world in that they have historical value and aren't (usually) full of disgusting products of the modern age. Medieval Gamers United will not endorse games that relish in a great degree of distasteful graphic violence or immoral themes. Please see the group rules for more information. Our group role models are St. Thomas More, St. George, St. Louis IX, and King Richard the Lionheart.

A knew map is coming to Chivalry that looks as though it will be a blockbuster. Helms Deep! For those of you who aren't familiar with the Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien, one of the greatest writers of all time, a vet of the Great War, and the author of the books inspiring the Lord of the Rings trilogy by Peter Jackson, Helms deep is the castle that the people of Rohan held out in from the Uruk Hai forces of Isengard, which was allied with Sauron in Mordor. For more info, you LOTR nuts should purchase The Dictionary of Middle Earth, watch the movies and read the books, and head over to the workshop page and help support this guy in his work. Spread publicity.
