Global Defense Systems - Arma 3 PMC TacSim

Who are we?

Global Defense Systems is an Arma 3 Tactical Simulation Unit, based loosely on the concept of us being a Private Military Contractor (PMC) taking combat contracts from international governments and private corporations.

Our unit strives to create dynamic, engaging, unique, and challenging Arma 3 scenarios on a weekly basis. Our team takes part in Semi-Serious and Semi-Realistic gameplay with the main goal being fun.

We are currently recruiting, and will accept members of all levels of experience- our ideal candidates have a good attitude, a desire to learn, are driven to work as a team, and possess a sense of maturity and respect.

What do we offer?

· We do not require our members to salute or use military etiquette, and encourage a fun and inviting atmosphere.

· Our unit is community run and is based around a defined unit constitution that restricts the roles and powers of our leaders. Unit leaders cannot “power trip” and take action against you if “don’t get along.”

· We offer an extensive list of weapons, gear, and equipment to choose from for use in the field. We want our members to use the equipment they feel comfortable with. We are also open to feedback on any of the items we restrict, and focus on balance rather than nit-pick individual items.

· GDS encourages homegrown Zeus and modded gameplay and have a process for Zeus and Mission Designers to take part in creating our main and mini operations on a regular basis.

· An active Aviation segment of the unit that conducts tactical strikes, logistics, and other actions that require fixed wing aircraft or helicopters.

· A mechanized segment of the unit that utilizes armor and light vehicles to support our infantry in combat.

· Active community members who are respectful and kind to new members.

· Community events and side operations outside of our main events.
