There was a tiny change in the server allocation due new hardware arrived.

As of effect from now, there are two group restricted servers. Only group members can play here:

- Gandalf's Tower
- Gandalf's Dungeon

In addition, to give the new hardware something to do, we have the following new servers:

- Mordor
- Dead Marshes
- Fangorn Forest
- Gladden Fields
- Minas Ithil
- Misty Mountains
- The Shire
- Rivendell

Rarely, you see another server online:

- Gandalf's Test Lab

This server is limited to beta testers and used to try out new stuff

All new servers run on a docker cluster on amd opteron hardware, all connected by gigabit.

Like stated below, we received lag reports from a small group of players.

This has been investigated and the configuration has been adjusted, however since this is a difficult problem, not reproducable by us, feedback of more players is needed.

Take a flamer, really, please?

As of today, all Gandalf's servers have a new challenge installed: Backfire13. Changes from normal gameplay:

- Flamer does do no damage;
- Flamer does not ignite;
- Flamer theoretically can kill a parasite, if dropped on parasite;
- Biomass is ignited by explosions (alt fire, gl);
- Weapon requirements (i.e. Syntek) are removed;
- Backfire rules apply normally;
- Flamer can actually burn biomass;
- Did i mention flamer does do not damage?
