Hello everyone, I hope you all had a good break and are ready for this coming semester!

This is just a quick reminder that there will be a meeting this week (January 15th) at 5:30, lasting until 7.

Currently the room is planned to be Thompson 055, however, I will confirm when it is set in stone here.

We are planning on discussing what we aim to accomplish with the coming month and begin some preparations for an inhouse GameJam.

Three things today...

First off, the first GCC meeting of this new semester is tomorrow night, Monday, at 7:30 PM in Lazenby Hall 18. What could this new semester hold...? For the first time in a long time, I have no idea :P

Related to that, I have graduated from OSU and am no longer in a position to easily bring you the latest from GCC. Nor does there seem to be any particular interest from any of the current leadership regarding managing this group. So club coverage may be toned down a bit as a result, but as I was only bringing you guys the essential news anyway, perhaps you'll see no change whatsoever.

On a personal note but still of interest to the club, I spent today compiling a list of Steam Early Access games completely out of curiosity concerning Early Access, game development completion rates, and frequency of updates. While the results are by no means scientific, it has produced some mildly interesting results thus far. Out of six games that have completed their stint as an Early Access game, only one is considered a bad game. Out of the rest of the 100+ games that are still in early access, I cannot truly call a single one of them abandoned. Fears of paying for an unfinished game, while Towns has proven them founded, are still a bit overstated. Still, do your research when buying Early Access games.
