ABOUT Fusion 3.64

Welcome to the Fusion 3.64 Network.

This is mostly a one man show. I run all the servers solo. The admins/mods come and go. So if you have any suggestions, complaints (or praise 😉) please post them here or the Discord server and I’ll get to them as soon as possible. The blog/forum my website has is pretty busted. So either of these options are the best places to post.

Currently there’s a PvE and a Build|Test server.

The PvE server is loaded with plugins. Lots of plugins. But I have a plugin that can help you. Chat command /ui. Or you can visit the website and go to the plugins section.

The Build|Test server is mainly up for me to test things out for the PvE server so I don’t screw things up for the players. But it’s always running so anyone can log on and build, fly around, go into godmode and wreck a radtown full of NPCs. If there is a plugin that I need stress tested I’ll put the info in /ui and post that it’s running in the main screen UI.

December Update

This update isn't as epic as most. So there aren't as many goodies this wipe.
We've mainly been working on behind the curtain stuff to try and improve the server performance.

However there are some additions to the server.
Lit torches will prevent cold damage.
A very useful perk for the upcoming map.

Most weapons will now have a dual capacity clip.
Some have larger. Some are still Vanilla.
Either way, your spray 'n pray ability is increased x2 on all auto weapons.

The Auto Purge of "abandoned" bases will take place shortly after the server comes back online.
Based on the several tests I've run, it should happen before players are able to log in.
So no more uber lag while the server cleans itself up.

The PvP plugin is patched. It was bugging out because it was running a check for the clan plugin which I had pulled.
I was going to put the clan plugin back. But it's really tough to decide on how to set things up.
By default, it forces you to make a clan any time you try to make a team.
That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
And it forces you to make a team if you try to make a clan.
That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
I could shut all of those options off.
But the automated creation of a team while making a clan makes sense.
It makes things so much easier as far as clan management is concerned since most players don't read about/know about the /cmenu (clan ui) plugin.
You can just kick players from the clan or leave the clan through the team menu.
But with this in place, you can't be in a clan and on another team.

So yeah. Clans are still on hold until I figure out how to set things up in a way that works for everyone.
Because right now it's brute force clan creation.
Which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I know I keep saying this. But raid bases are still in the works.
I have them operational (currently down on the test server right now), so that's not the issue.
It's the loot tables for each tier of bases.
What's fair for your time and resources invested?
What's too little? Too much?
That and the whole damn system keeps changing.

Honestly I want to find another plugin to use since the developer is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
But this is the best one out there.
So gotta take what there is.

The Enchanting plugin appears to still be broken so it's going to be removed next wipe.
The /upcrate plugin will be removed as well to prevent any further item loss.
Both are great plugins. But they aren't working properly or at all.
So they're gone for the time being or possibly forever. Depends how things go.

But that's about it. New plugins are already in place.
Just have to pull the broken ones in a few days and things'll be all set.

Since Halloween is over and Facepunch has finally put the weather system in place, I've removed the weather plugin.

The Easter event will be replaced by Halloween.

There's a new NPC plugin.

I meant to put it in last wipe.
But so much chaos.
So you get it now.
What is it?
You'll know it when you see it.

Personal recyclers now have an engine and require fuel.
The grade of the engine parts will determine the recycle speed, fuel usage and durability of the parts.

There are 3 chat games running to give you the chance to gain some RP.

There's a playtime reward system in place as well.
Every 2 hours you'll be given a reward.
It could be an item.
It could be RP.
It could be permission to use a command or temporary access to a group.
If you are already in that group, you'll just have more time added to it.

The sedan is being removed the store.
It's clunky.
Confusing to some players on how to use it (read /ui).
And we have cars now.

I've finally found a replacement for Zlevels.

You use RP to increase perks.

This is the first run of the plugin, so input is welcome.

The option to sell items through the vending machine for RP is back.

I got a dev to fix another devs work so we can have something nice :)

Just select Research Paper (RP. Get it?) for the payment item and set the amount and you're good to go.
If anything goes wrong be sure to let me know.

It's not ready yet. But I'll be switching to another chat plugin in a few days that some of you may remember.

This is an all in one plugin that lets you change your tag/color/name color and chat color.
All through a GUI.
It also has multiple aspects built into it like PM/Chat filter/Spam filter/Mute etc.

So it makes things a lot easier on my end as well.
I just have a lot left to set up.

There's also a new surprise at the Compound/Outpost.
