Ironically, upping the difficulty, doesnt transalte into actaully making the game harder. It increases loot quality, max wild dinos. From the loot ive been able to fish out and acquire through drops, theres nothing wrong with the availability of quality loot. Like i said, if we go to difficulty 5, aka up to 150, the bosses go up in level dificulty too. So it doesnt mean you have better dinos for the bosses. As it stands im thinking of nerfing some of the player and dinos stats. But upping the level wont make bosses any easier. It would just mean for the rest of the game, your dinos would have better stats, therefore better survivability, and it woudl be easier to rai/tank turrets.

I was just asking a question. And like you said it wouldn't make it any easier, well thats the point 120 Dinos are to easy 150lvl would make it harder and let us have better dinos for the Bosses. But its ok I don't mind was just asking a question.

Upping to 150 would make everyones current tamed and bred dinos useless. At tame 224 vs 179, 45 lvl difference. We kept it OG lvl 120, aka difficulty 4, as when we took over the server, 120 was still Island Official, and its what we were most used to, as most of our time was spent on the Island.

Im not sure how it "would be much better", upping the dinos to 150 woudlnt make the game any easier, Eg Bosses wouldnt get scale. Only bonus is larger base dinos stats, but we've increased tamed dinos hp by 3x and melee, weight slightly.

We aim not to wipe, allowing people to keep their progress, eg pedigree dinos, mutations, tech tier etc and if we do have to wipe, I would like to be able to give our devoted population the ability to transfer their pedigree dinos and mutants to the next wipe, so all progress isnt lost, as a reward for their loyalty/ incentive to return, but no point bring back 120's if the cap is now 150.

Hi guys,
I was wondering if it is possible to have the wild dino lvl upped to 150 or is it not possible to do so unless you do a wipe. Just a question as 150lvl dinos would be much better.

Server is back up guys! HUGE THANKS to Sa6r3! Streamline werent very helpful in our query, but sa6r3 found a way to reinstall the specific mod without uninstalling it.(which would have deleted all s+ structures), so thanks again mate. Sorry for the downtime lads

Hi all,

Our server hosting company seems to be having some issues at the moment and we are unable to update the mods or submit a ticket online. I will post another update once the issue is fixed. Dont have an ETA at this stage. Thanks for your patience.

Server is up, there's been a mod update. Will get to it when I can.

As a side note, you guys might want to turn auto-updates off, or not leave your computers/steam running, or keep ARK running. Gotta keep in mind we are in Perth, I still got 1-2 hours before I get home.

Just wondering when the server will be updated as it is a few behind.

Current Version: v255.5
* Fixed issue with turret targeting
* Fixed issue with plant turret debuff
v255.4
* Fixed several spoiling time exploits
v255.3
* Optimized Task Graph and RHI code for approximate 5-8% client side performance gain, and approximate 5% server performance gain.
* Disabled Loot Giving for jumping puzzle on TheCenter, for now.

Yeah someone else said the communal Forges are gone. I will check our logs when I log in for a brief time after work. If it's not In logs, It could have possibly despawned...

seems to be a problem with the server i keep getting booted right after logging into game and noticed it happeneing to others joining and leaving straight away

Would admins take into consideration a 12 hourly server update and reboot? S+ updated at midday today. 2nd day in a row its been inaccessible for a long period of time. Gotta love mod mis-matches
