Today is the launch day for WoW Classic. Servers should go online at 5:00/6:00PM CST/EST. I encourage those of you that will be joining us to hop on discord to hang out. We have a way to que our members at the front of the WoW server login que. So, if you're interested in learning how to do this please contact me directly.

For those of you unaware the bulk of us will be joining the PvP server Faerlina as Horde with our alliance friends going to the Herod server.

If you are still unsure of what race and/or class to play there are several videos in the #music-and-videos channel of the EG Discord. You might have to scroll up to see them.

This announcement is for the name reservation and server choice event that is beginning this evening 8/12/2019

About
This event is allowing players to reserve character names on their chosen servers before the game's launch. All you need is an active WoW subscription to login.

What do I do?
If you don't want to wait until game launch on 8/26/19 then you can add or renew a WoW subscription to your blizzard account today. There is a dropdown in the Blizzard App that allows you to switch between Classic WoW and Legion WoW.

Server?
We will be going to Faerlina. It is a PVP server in the Eastern Time Zone

Alliance?
We do have a group going Alliance on Herod - PvP - Eastern Time Zone. However, they're a fickle bunch and that may change. Just know there is a group available for Alliance-only players.

Hello everyone,

WoW Classic will be launching towards the end of August 2019 and will be a game I'll personally be trying out. I wanted to send out a PSA to members that might be interested to get in touch with me so you'll have someone to play with.

As of right now I'm not sure if we'll be starting a serious raid guild or anything of that nature, but I do know we'll be grouping together and casually picking up new people and friends as we go.

Horde or Alliance?

I'm fairly dead set on playing an Undead character (Horde) preferably on a PvP server. So, if you'd like to join in keep in mind that the core group will be Horde.

Server?

It will most likely be PvP, but Blizzard hasn't released server names yet.

Long-term Plans

If we do end up going all-in with the game (as in, vanilla WoW is as fun as we remember), then there's a very good chance I'll launch a serious guild.

I've been running EG for over a decade across multiple MMOs so it won't be anything terribly challenging to accomplish. If we are STILL playing at end-game and we're not really interested in launching a full guild we can always join a raid guild and go from there (pretty much how I did it when I played before I started EG in 2007).
