Welcome to the Deus Ex Multiplayer Steam Group!

This group is focused on bringing the Deus Ex Multiplayer community back together and increasing popularity on the game and primarily it's multiplayer servers. The group is more focused on the original Deus Ex Game Of The Year Edition, but players from other Deus Ex communities are welcome to join, chat and even be a part of our development.

IMPORTANT -- How to play DXMP after the masterserver shutdown:

Effective May 31, 2014, GameSpy will cease providing all hosted services for all games still using GameSpy. What this means is that you need to download the new masterserver in order to be able to play Deus Ex Multiplayer. More information for server owners and players can be found here, as well as an automatic installer for the masterserver:

Discord Group:

We encourage players to join the Discord group, where you can meet many other players and keep up to date on the latest stuff. Members will also be happy to help you get set up playing Deus Ex Multiplayer. A link is provided to the group which should get you in easily.

IRC Chat, Forums, and Deus Ex Website:

In addition to the Discord, we also have a dedicated website that is regularly updated with new mods and features. It also contains a forums section, and an internet relay chat that is hooked up to any Deus Ex server with the software installed, which means you can chat to players that are in game even if you're not. The website also has various other social functions. A link is provided for easy access to the website.

Please only contact an administrator if you have an issue or wish to speak about something that is not covered in the community discussions or comments. You may also contact us to report inappropriate behaviour in the group.
