After five incredibly long years, Guild Wars 2 is finally here. Early Access for those who pre-purchased the game begins tonight. The official start time is set for midnight, but Arena Net has stated they may bring the servers online up to three hours early to ensure a smooth launch, so start checking early! I will update this post when the gates are open. For those who pre-ordered the game, Early Access begins at midnight on Sunday (technically Monday morning).

Sea of Sorrows will be the official Dreampiece server, at least for the time being. We don't actually have to stress about this at all, thanks to some innovative decisions by Arena Net. Server transfers will be fast and free at first, until the populations settle. Furthermore, players on totally different servers will still be able to play together via a Guesting function. So, no need to stress out about servers, but we will be trying to start on Sea of Sorrows this evening.

I will start a Dreampiece guild ASAP, so send Macfoo or Macfeezy a tell for an invite!

Also, don't forget to link your GW1 and GW2 accounts to access your Hall of Monuments.
