ABOUT Disaster Bugs

1) Casual - no large commitment required, this is a team intended to fit around real life
2) Fun - we are playing for fun, not to dedicate our lives to being the uber-best
3) Oversize - due to the casual nature of this team there will need to be more than 5 players as to make matches possible. I am aiming for around 10 players in total.
4) Mature - no under 18's please
5) Competitive - the whole aim of this is to play some matches together, and there will be a small amount of training also
6)Not exclusive - as long as you are able to make the minimum commitment to the team then you are welcome to play for other teams/clans

If you like the sound of this then please take note of the minimum requirements to join:

-Over 18
-Able to be available to play at least 2 sessions a month
-Once committed to play a match, must be able to stay until the end
-Must have and be willing to use a microphone
-No specific skill requirement
-Friendly and open to following directions

Mumble

We are now going to stay with mumble as voice server. If you strongly prefer let me know, we can consider changing back. I personally prefer TS but mumble comes free and does the job.

The server has no password to join, but to use the main channels you need to be registered on the server. Anyone who has admin rights can register someone on the server (Just right cick them and select register).

All registered users can also create temporary channels (Not sure why you would want to, but you can)

Any regular members I see online will get admin rights as standard.

Feel free to use the server as you wish for your own gaming purposes with anyone you want.

[Optional] I personally think the default skin for mumble is terrible and I hate the weird lips on there. I have skinned mine with Metro skin, which is much nicer https://github.com/xPoke/MetroMumble/releases/
Just download the skin and move it to your mumble installation. You can then select it from configure/settings/user interface. There are loads of other skins available http://mumble.sourceforge.net/Skins

Sorry for my recent abscence. I have just returned from a week training in the Alps. But I am back now and working nights this week. Most of you already know that I have very little work to do on nights and so will be on a lot during the morning and afternoons.

This Friday I will try to arrange some more organised training and matches. Could everyone who is interested please post below or let me know so I can arrange enough to get everyone involved.

I am also going to get a new TS server set up as the old provider became useless.
