Here is Jono's statement, please take the time to read it all.

Hey people,

Today we streamed the bo3 semi-final match between Dignitas and Virtus Pro, with both teams taking their map of choice in convincing fashion it all hanged in the balance going into the final map, Overpass. Unfortunately starting sometime in the second map Device was struggling with internet issues we are lead to believe was DDOS. Managing to continue, however, we were able to cover the remainder of Inferno and moved onto Overpass with Device just about managing to play.

Things became a lot worse though and we were faced with lengthy pauses and delays to the game. At this point we were forced to make a decision. Persevering to maintain legitimacy in our results and trying to eradicate any external influence on the game we made the drastic decision to take the game offline and stop the broadcast. Our thinking was that this would enable the teams to play this game out at another time offline, therefor making sure DDOS wouldn't be an issue. After going offline the teams decided to actually continue with the match at that time, meaning that Dignitas were playing with stand-ins (aizy and device replaced by smf and cajunb) which was their choice. The score finished 16-9 to Dignitas with them starting on the CT side and going up 13-2 at half time.

Stopping the stream and hoping for the match to be played out free from DDOS was our goal, but things ended up slightly differently to what we intended. We'd just like to apologise for the abrupt end to our stream tonight and all of the complications involved. We hope we dealt with the issue tonight in the best way, if the community feels there would be a better way to deal with these kind of things we'd appreciate feedback.
