Couple of things to start:

1. You must use Hamachi version 2.1.0.374. You can find this online. The newer versions of Hamachi have an issue where it will lose connection to the group on restarting Windows.

2. Check the announcements for custom Conflict settings (Hamachi, video & controller). You need to buy Xpadder and use an Xbox controller for best results. To navigate through the menus hold down 'back' and use 'right stick' or 'dpad' to navigate, 'right trigger' or 'A' to go forward and 'B' to go back.

3. Having a mic available will be pretty useful. Use 'Alt' or 'dpad down' to talk during the game.

4. Conflict will use the default audio settings in Windows 7. It may not recognise other audio settings in game so setup your audio before starting Conflict

P.S. The only difference between the multiplayer and single player controller settings is that in the single player you can cycle through your team mates (set to dpad up/down) and muliplayer allows for team chat (set to dpad down).

In single player you need to manually change the keyboard bindings to cycle through players. You must change "next soilder" under the squad tab to "]" and "previous soilder" to "[" This is for single player only.

Hamachi v2.1.0.374 Installation

You must disconnect your internet connection before you install version 2.1.0.374 as Hamachi will automatically update on succesful installation.

Go to System -> Preferences -> Settings and untick Enable automatic update

After which you can connect to the internet again

You can check which version you have installed by going to Help -> About Hamachi
