MWO is coming to Steam, and Church of Skill with it. Play along and receive advice from MWO competitive veterans about the most successful builds, and the best strategies to use them with while on the public queue matchmaker or in top-tier competitive games. To that end, we've also created a Church of Skill steam group to be your #1 MWO steam group for questions regarding the state of the game, gameplay assistance, and most important--- finding your place in the MWO community. Below is a rundown for players unfamiliar with most Church of Skill events.

• What is it? Church of Skill Sunday Mass is a weekly event for the community that's designed to help you as the player achieve several things: Understand game mechanics and proper movement on maps. Ask members veteran church members questions regarding builds and any other game related questions. It is a resource for experienced players that want to enter the competitive scene, new players looking to get better or the casual player that wants to be better in pug matches.
  
  Notice: Sunday Mass is not the only time we will play together, the Teamspeak is always open for use and we will run groups throughout the week. In other words "Sunday Mass" is our only official event so far.
  
  
• When is it? Every Sunday at 7pm EST. Please come into the Church of Skill teamspeak to reserve you slot. Make sure to message EmP members for permissions.
  
  
• What do I need to bring? Please have mechs available of several weight classes that are considered competitive. While we understand some players may not have a deep selection, try to have one or two "comp" mechs. Both IS/Clan mechs are fine to bring. More importantly, bring an open mind and be willing to take criticism and learn.
  
  If you are a new player, don't be in a rush to make any decisions on new mechs until after we've advised you on mech builds. New players will be allowed to take trial mechs, until then.
  
  
• Who can participate? Any member of the community. As long as you have the desire to learn and improve, everything else can be worked on.
