Wager Matches will be available on the new Black Ops game!! Wager Matches ranking system will be seperate from the standard ranking system for Black Ops and will allow you to wage your COD points in a six man play modes that is unique to Wager Matches. So far only four play modes have been confirmed and they're One in the Chamber, Sharpshooter, Sticks and Stones, and Gun Game.

* One in the Chamber - each player is given a pistol with one bullet and a knife. For each kill achieved the player will receive one more bullet. However, each player will only have three lives.
* Sharpshooter - each player is given the same random weapon. The weapon will be used for 45 seconds before being switched out for another one. Kills will award the player with perks and score multipliers.
* Sticks and Stones - each player receives only a crossbow, ballistic knife, and a Tomahawk. The catch in this gamemode is that if the player was able to hit an enemy with a Tomahawk, the enemy player will go "bankrupted".
* Gun Game - players start out with a pistol. For each kill they move up a level, granting them a better gun. First person to achieve kills with all 20 weapons wins. However, someone who is knifed will move down a level.

With these 4 unique game modes, there will be 3 different playlists/level of wager matches and they include Ante Up, Weekend Gambler, and High Roller. Ante Up will allow players to form parties, but is a low buy-in playlist. Weekend Gambler restrict any formation of parties and will be a higher buy-in cost. High Roller on the other hand will of course be a higher buy-in cost and restrict any party forming, but will also incorporate all four game modes.



There will also be different game modes away from the black ops.
"The only new game modes in MW2 were Spec Ops and Barebones. Nothing really new there, just co-op missions that you could play with 1 friend. Now unlike MW2 Black Ops will have six new game modes. Two will be well thought reiterations and the rest will be completely new and are certainly going to entertain you to death. The two reiterations will be Barebones playlists. One of the playlists named classic TDM will have no attachments and kill streaks will be set at 3-5-7. The other mode dubbed Pure Barebones will remove all the players attachment, perks, and killstreaks. We also have a unnamed co-op mode that has yet to be announced. The return of Nazi Zombies is there for player s who buy the Prestige and Hardened Editions of the game. Then there are the wager modes (Sticks and Stones, One in the Chamber, Gun Game).
