We're not kidding either.

There are plenty of servers out there. And frankly, it's just more of the same.

Let's try to state the cycle, shall we?

-Join server
-Create rogue faction
-Barely get enough materials to live
-Get owned by team of griefers
-Sit in spawn for days on end hoping something fun happens
-nothing fun happens

You try to get your friends to join because the server is filled with 140% ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

You mine for 1000 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HOURS just to get enough money and create a faction so that people can't steal your ♥♥♥♥

Tough ♥♥♥♥ Mary Anne your friends quit and every other faction is filled with griefers.

Your ♥♥♥♥ gets stolen and the admins are too busy not giving a ♥♥♥♥ to help out

You rage quit and the process repeats until the end of time

WELL, NOT HERE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!

Well... That's roughly what it is.

Our server is very different different; instead of giving players ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jobs that reward for only one action, effectively making the entire process of playing the damn thing like a second job, we actually care about the well being of players and the quality of playability. For that, we have tested and tried a slew of different servers and found the perfect compromise of sustainability, liberty, and overall fun.

Everything is available to you from the start with nothing being locked out and held just for being a donor. While we do have a reward program if you want to give money the rewards give you no significant advantage over any other player. An ingame shop has been included were players can spend money they get from playing the games. But these shops also happen to be dungeons, so you can't just stick around spawn slacking off to buy items that would otherwise be difficult to get.

We have included a slew of plugins in order to ensure maximum balance with neat gameplay mechanics that don't stray too much from vanilla gameplay. Join ingame to check them out.

Rules:

Racism, sexism (Non ironic) or and any other extreme language may be a bannable offense.

Basic Rules:

Listen to the admins.
Cursing, and foul language in general is fine, but don't be a prick.
Generally speaking, this is an 18+ server. , but if you are proven mature enough younger people will be allowed to join.
Ah screw it. Type /rules if you really care so much about the rules

General Building Rules:

No tard pillars.
Don't burn down the forest, like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pyro.
Try to keep buildings within a town/city building prospective, basically don't make your town too big.
Pixelart is discouraged, as it is unoriginal and too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tacky.

Behind on payments-- server down indefinately

Hey all.

I really regret not being able to play recently. I've been terribly busy with school work and haven't had the time I used to. Thus, I have given basically anyone who wants to run the server for themselves OP privelages and essentially placing the power in their hands.

The map isn't one big crater so clearly this hasn't backfired yet.

However, the one main issue I've always struggled with it keeping the server up on its own. We're nearing our 6 month anniversity (those exist?) and it's a shame to see the server go down like this. Despite our ups and downs, I feel that we've delivered a solid gaming experience that stands out compared to the majority of servers out there. We've never had a huge planbase, but I pride myself in saying we have a loyal, creative, and fantastic one.

This is where it starts to get akward.

I've put more money out of pocket into the server than I can count, and I have often witheld many of my own personal expenditures to keep the server up and running. With the generous support of Zesty and Dobad, we've forgone some monthly payments, but again, they're monthly. And I'm in no position to spend any of my own funds to upkeep anymore.
I've always kept an open stance for donators to help contribute to the server, but those who have donated are seldom. While it's important to maintain an element of balance when giving donator privelages, there must also be an element of advantage. I personally hate pay 2 win games, but to keep an ongoing model of gameplay, it is sometimes necessary. I've always tried to keep our benefits fun and hilarious. But this is all besides the point.

The issue at hand is the server is now in indefinite suspension until we can come up with the appropriate funds to upkeep our service. We are exactly $12 away from a month's worth of minecrafty goodness, but I don't know where that's going to come from. Therefore, I've come up with a proposition.

Donate now and/or for several months in advance and you become an partial owner.

You get OP privelages, simple as that. You can now run the server how you'd like it to be run, maybe with a few guidelines of the philosophy of basix, but you're in charge. If you want spawn to be a giant ball of tnt, go right ahead. If you want dragon fighting factions, go right ahead. If you want dungeon crawling puzzles and combat, go right ahead. That's the offer.

But in addition, I'll be there to help manage the files and any issues that come up. I won't have enough time to play daily, but I can devote enough time to make sure the server is in good shape. But keeping a steady playerbase is no longer anything I can handle-- it's just out of reach for me.

I'm sorry that the server is as pathetic as it is right now. I honestly regret having to succumb to the players for help I should be doing. But I honestly believe everyone who plays on this server is awesome and deserves a shot to run it for themselves.
