With a hidden camera, animals were filmed being SKINNED ALIVE!!! They say it's done to get a more perfect ''cut'', afterwards the carcasses are tossed into a pile, still alive, and
for up to 10 minutes you can see their hearts still beating, in agony, their eyes still blinking, and the puppies little paws still shaking.

SKINNED ALIVE
When undercover investigators made their way onto Chinese fur farms, they found that many animals are still alive and struggling desperately when workers flip them onto their backs or hang them up by their legs or tails to skin them. When workers on these farms begin to cut the skin and fur from an animal's leg, the free limbs kick and writhe. Workers stomp on the necks and heads of animals who struggle too hard to allow a clean cut.

Thank you for signing a recent e-mail petition about the cruel fur industry. Although we did not create the petition, we are pleased to learn of it and would like to let you know other ways you can help.

Millions of animals suffer horrific treatment and slaughter in the fur industry. Those raised on fur farms spend their lives in cramped and filthy cages. Those trapped in the wild often languish for days as a steel jaw trap tears the skin from their bones. Some even chew off their own limbs in an attempt to escape. Much fur comes from China, where animals are skinned alive.

PETA continues to add nails to the fur industry’s coffin with headline-grabbing campaigns such as our recent graphic ads featuring Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, Garbage front-woman Shirley Manson, Simon Cowell and Stella McCartney amongst others. We are confident that fur sales will fall as more people learn the truth, but we need your help!
