Angel Ravens / Raging Ravens

Created in M36, the Angel Ravens are listed as a 20th founding in the chapters great library.

Devout followers of the Codex Astartes until M41, when the entire chapter was called to defend a forge world from the 12th Black Crusade. After suffering massive loses, and all but one of the chapters apothecaries, the Angel Ravens have been unable to full restore there numbers.

Unfortunately, while on a mission, the remainder of the Angel Ravens where sent to an unknown Necron tomb world. Though successful in destroying the tomb world, the last of the chapter was lost as the battle barge 'The Raging Raven' crashed into the dying planet.

After an investigation be the Ordo Xenos, the chapter was declared eliminated.

A few years passed and reports came in of small group of space marines claiming to be the Angel Ravens. Ordo Hereticus found that three of the members had survived the destruction of the planet with the help of ruinous powers, and have now been declared 'Excommunicated Traitors'.

Now calling themselves the Raving Ravens, the remainder is now suspected of attacking multiple imperial planets and growing there warbands numbers.
