The first dungeon was pretty brutal on your SP banks unless you bring in items to replenish your SP. If you don't prepare then you either have to conserve your SP or just normal attack the boss to death. The parasprites and the Trixe stages are short enough not to worry about SP and the Bog was well paced having a break area in which pinkie restores everyone's SP and HP.
The only major complaint I had was that monsters, especially in the bog area, would constantly poison everyone all the time, though luckily antidote herbs drop frequently enough to solve this problem.
The first is if you go to the cell south of the cell that the theatre building is in and then go north you teleport inside a wall and cannot move. The second is right after you beat Trixie, you cannot move, though to be fair this may not be a glitch.
As for my party set up, once thomas learned how to heal I found Fluttershy was no longer needed and thus replaced her with Twilight. I found Twilight and Pinkie Pie to be essential party members do to Twilight's low cost magic attacks and high SP, and Pinkie's amazing buffs and debuffs.
Applejack was great and very essential for boss fights but wasn't terribly useful during regular mob fights. This may have just been me, but she would miss alot and did as much damage as pinkie pie would with her regular attack. Due to AJ's low SP it made it hard to use her skills to generate threat, and unless you brought in a lot of supplies AJ would run out of SP early on.
The parasprites wern't too bad, though I preffered siding with pinkie since I get a nice piece of equipment out of the deal and don't have to bother fighting a ton of parasprites.
The bog wasn't too bad, once Thomas learned remedy and first aid the area and boss became a cake walk, I managed to beat the boss at level 19 without too much trouble.
Trixe was by far the easiest. Since she can only attack thomas, he built up his OD bar very quickly. This resulted in Trixie getting her soul frozen 3 times over with Thomas spending every 3rd or 4th turn healing himself. Bugs are in the next comment.
