Beta is reaching stability!

I wanted to let you all know the beta of BC2 has been patched and is much more stable!

ATI cards are running smooth, while NVIDIA cards have less optimization right now.

My home PC runs the game at max settings with 2x AA smoothly. The laptop can only run it at low smoothy, but it's still fun. :)

Hopefully we can get a game going sometime!

You can also play the Xbox 360 demo with Jastley and I if you have the system and can catch us at the right time.

BC2 Beta Client Released!

DICE was actually punctual for once! The beta is now released and I am currently downloading it myself.

If you haven't pre-ordered BC2 on Steam, you can get a key from several other places. Check Fileplant, TotalBF2.com, and there are more I'm sure.

It's gotten better this morning. I have been able to play about 10 minutes at a time. I'm running the game at max settings, 2x AA at 1680x1050 without a hiccup. Gameplay addicting..... must destroy EVERYTHING!

BC2 is pretty fun! I am not digging the squad system right now... but maybe it will grow on me. I can hardly connect to a server, and even when I am able to it is laggy as can be! Not graphical lag, just latency issues.
