What happens after death?

When it comes to the nature of our universe, many religious leaders and self-proclaimed messiah's have attempted to answer the questions seemingly outside our observable range: What is death, the nature of consciousness and the existence of the hereafter...
Yet, despite their efforts seeming noble, every single time it seems to be shattered by emerging science and even simple psychology at times, due to them almost always harboring a sinister authoritarian undertone, save for a few Buddhist sects and Pagan/Quaker types. And due to nature being exceptionally detached from the human concepts of pretty much anything to do with religions that have dominated our cultures, intellectualized ethics/morals/values/roles and ideology(which are all concepts, not often too separate) it seems to almost be a human limitation, that we still hold on to those things.

So I present to you, a solution. A solution that has been staring us in the face since Spirited Away. I call it, the Isekai Protagonism answer.
After we began to exist, we can no longer cease to exist. Our brains became advanced enough to imprint itself onto a higher dimension, that connects us to all universes and forces us to be reborn for infinity(this is why you remember this moment as yourself). Presenting us with the eternal challenge, of making the world we currently inhabit, the best it can be, no matter where or when it is, or the challenge to enjoy every single universe to it's last drop, no matter the morals.
It is a solution that picks no favorites, does not have dogma, or rules to follow. You simply exist within it, whether you like it or not. Good, or evil. A hero, or devil. You WILL exist again.
The premise is predicated on the fact that you cannot comprehend non-existence. You don't know what it is. A lot of people will ignorantly spout "It's just like going to sleep" seemingly not understanding their "selves" still persist throughout all that and also seemingly portraying a misunderstanding of what "nothing" truly is.
True "nothing" couldn't even be a word, because of how "nothing" it is and words exist to describe things. It is an incomprehensible subject. And because of just HOW nothing "nothing" is, I believe that if we were to truly reduce to nothing at our deaths, we wouldn't even remember THIS moment. And yet you do, despite in the future supposedly all of your memories completely disappearing and being reduced to complete "nothing"...
Even in science, we know there is no true "nothing". Energy cannot truly be destroyed and recent strides in string theory suggest multiple universes, potentially infinite amounts. So how, in the middle of all these infinites, do our consciousnesses exist as the seemingly only finite thing? I don't buy it and neither should you.
