Ever since Valve Erc forum at Chatbear went down, the Half-Life 1 community lost a potential modding resource, newcomers relied on that forum to get help, and now that its down, few Half-Life 1 communities are left that support newcomer modders, if any at all, thats why HalfLifeZone was created, a Half-Life comunitty that supports the newcomers at Half-Life modding, experienced modders are allowed as well, not only it has a forum but it also holds most of the aplicattions and tools meant for mapping, modeling, programming, etc, if you ever need any help, pay the forum a visit, they will help you out.
