Rules

  • No religious, racial, or homophobic slurs in chat/player names/dino names.
  • No killing passive dinos in Passive Pens. Passive pens are a safe haven for all your passive dinos. Make sure you label your Passive Pen, and put up green multi-panel flags around it. Place it away from your main base so splash damage doesn't kill your dinos. This doesn't mean people can't break into it and tranq your dinos to see if they are carrying anything.
  • No hiding items in passive pen, except on dinos.
  • No no base leveling
  • No auto turrets on Quetz platform saddles. Minigun, Rocket, Ballista, and Catapult turrets are okay.
  • No hacking, cheating, exploiting bugs/glitches, etc.
  • 15 players per tribe/30 players per Alliance MAX
  • No building on the floating island or blocking the dungeon entrance.
  • No inside raiding
  • No foundation/pillar/gate spamming!
  • No building within render range of 50/50 due to harvesting bug
  • No loitering near 50/50 due to harvesting bug
  • No raiding/destroying/defacing Server event areas
  • Caged/Handcuffed prisoners are allowed during raids ONLY and must be released immediately after termination of the raid.
  • Destroy ALL taming pens when you are finished taming.
  • Cave building is permitted, unless there is an artifact in it. If you're inactive you are subject to a base wipe.

    **If there is ever an issue and an admin is nowhere to be found ...SCREENSHOT or VIDEO IT!**

    **Admins will NOT replace items/dinos lost to bugs.**

New Server Inbound! 3/12 @ 12pm PST
I will be launching the new Arkoholics server at 12pm PST, 3pm EST.

The old server will remain online, however I will only be advertising this one. The reason for the new server is essentially a server wipe. Population has been slowly decreasing over the past few weeks and I'll be sponsering this server in hopes of getting the population/community back. I'm aiming to get back into the top 20 again.

So what's changed?

The Name!
The name is now Arkoholics, instead of Valhallark. It was changed incase we change to a different map in the future (The center).

Rates
The rates are going back down to 3x XP, 3x Gather, and 5x Tame. The previous rates were pretty high. People got to high level within the first day. The gather rates were also really high. The new rates will feel like there is more progression instead of powerleveling to max level the first couple days.

Stats
The max level has been increased from 94 to 150. This is so there is still progression after max level. I also increased the max post tame level for dinos to +70.
Player crafting was increased from x1.5 to x2.
Dino speed was decreased to x1.5 from x3. The dinos were too fast at x3. It was fun while it lasted, but pretty imbalanced and overpowered in pvp.

Mods
I removed the kibble cooker this time around. It is pretty overpowered as well, and was due to be taken out. Beacon drops already have kibble as loot, so there's always that option to go for kibble. Tranq-x darts and arrows are still removed from the game.
All other mods are staying and remain the same.

Rules
Added a few new rules for the new server.
  • Changed how the passive dino rule is. Before there were a ton of problems with the passive rule. This time around, they need to be in a passive pen in order to be safe. Don't forget to color the doors to the passive pen green.
  • Added a tribe limit/alliance limit to control the bigger tribes and make sure they don't get out of control. It's no fun when 3/4 of the server are all one big alliance.
  • The quetz driver rule was added so the drivers weren't invulnerable to attack during raids, giving a little counterplay.
  • Added the inside raiding rule so people don't have to worry about spies.
  • Added the structure spamming to prevent spawn blocking
  • Added the 50/50 rules to avoid the bug
  • Added the raiding the server event area for obvious reasons
  • Added a little more clarification on caging/handcuffing people.
  • Added the taming pen rule so there's not a bunch of abandoned pens everywhere.
