-Aegon V Targaryen

His Grace King Aegon V Targaryen has named his Hand of the King;

Aurane Arryn, Lord Paramount and Defender of the Vale, Lord of the Eyrie, and Warden of the East has been appointed Hand of the King.

The Hand chairs the Small Council and is in effect the second most powerful person in the Seven Kingdoms.

May the Light of the Seven Guide Him.

His Grace, King Aegon V Targaryen will be hosting a tournement in the comming days.

The tourney will be held in King's Landing. All of the Lords and Ladys of Westeros are invited.

All Houses in good standing may enter into the competition.

Those involved will be particpating in the following activities;
~Jousting
~Single Combat
~Archery

The winner will receive a Valyrian Steel sword, presented to him by the King himself, and a parade through the city. Along with the honor and satisfaction of beating the Great Houses.

His Grace, Aegon Targaryen, Fifth of his name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and of the First men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm has made the following appointment;

Lord Connin of House Linster has been appointed Warden of the West. He will be charged with the protection and stability of the Westerlands. While the title of Warden of the West is usually held by the Lannisters, His Grace decided to make an exception.
