Welcome To Old Time Servers Gaming

Hey gamers, sorry I haven't been keeping the announcements active, but it was for good reason,

For the last 6 years i've been dedicating my focus mainly to furthering my education.

I still have a huge passion for gaming, which is why I never closed down the group page.

I want to just say that I will always remember the old times on the servers.

I loved hosting events and managing a gaming community, but time can push us away from our hobbies.

I feel that life is a game in a way.

When I was 16, I launched my first Team Fortress 2 server and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life,

I made a lot of friends online, I met so many incredibly smart individuals, they made innovations to steam in the most creative ways. I got to learn many amazing skills from these great people.

Fast forward a couple years when I turned 18 I started college and tried to manage the servers at the same time. unfortunately I had to choose between getting an education or follow my passions.

Sometimes in life, passion doesn't pay the bills. I became so broke and invested into school that I couldn't afford to keep my servers online for a while.

Any time I had extra money I would always think of launching another server, and when I did I would end up going inactive because I was financially unstable. I still tried my best though, but....





When I turned 20 years old my father passed away from a heart attack.

The impact of losing my parent was unmeasurable, I started to gain weight, I stopped talking to friends, I was getting bad grades. I was becoming a broken man. my father was the greatest man on earth. His last words he told me was that he loved me with all his heart.

I still cry till today when I think of him, but I know that life will always give us unexpected challenges, but we can overcome them.

Fast forward a few more years and I'm blessed by the wonderful life I have, I have my mother, my brothers, my sister, and now I have nephews and nieces that look up to me

They motivated me to change, I eat healthy, I exercise every day, I only drink water. I realized that I had to continue to work hard and push myself to new limits because every human has it within themselves to conquer reality.

I'm so happy with where I am now. I know that the man i've become today wouldn't have been possible without everyone I met along the way.

Now if you're still reading this you might be asking yourself, "Why is this guy telling us this story out of no where" well, i'm using this announcement as an opportunity to vent out my feelings and thoughts on the past. I find it therapeutic to share with others, even if they don't want to listen.

I've been so lucky to receive the support of others on this small blue planet, the internet has changed me for the better, it makes me feel powerful that I can reach out to my friends no matter where I am in the world.

The Steam community has changed a bunch over the years, but one thing that never changed was the friendships and bonds that it brought us.

People argue and get mad but thats ok, it's in our nature as humans because we are competitive creatures.



But anyways, i'm gonna cut this announcement short and continue writing later.
