Its been decided!
next time we will be playing mods, mods, and more mods. (Prophunt, Pyro Dodgeball, Zombie Fortress, vs. SAXTON HAAAAALE!!!, and TF2ware)


From experience, I know that there are quite a few fanmade maps that when you try download them, you get a "cannot CRC" message (especially if you are using a mac as I understand). This can be easilly fixed.
- type the map name in google (this includes the prefix)
- find the map (usually it will be on FPSbanana)
- download it
- put it in the map file (usually it will be in the form of .cfg) in the map folder for TF2.
(You might have to close TF2 before doing this, I never tested it while TF2 was open)

also It might come in handy to put an alias of your TF2 folder on your desktop for the weekend of our next event

For macs, your TF2 map folder will be located here: users/<username>/library/applications support/steam/steamapps/<steam username>/teamfortress 2/tf/maps

If you use a PC then you are on your own (thats what google is for)

Map prefixes for each of the mods are as follows (except TF2ware idk what it is)
Prophunt: ph_
Dodgeball - multirocket (this is probably the one we will be doing most): db_
Dodgeball - single rocket: dbs_
Zombie Fortress: zf_
vs. Saxton Hale: vsh_

Last thing, we don't know when we will do this so keep in contact about what times are good for you. All we know is that it will probably not be next weekend so if you want to use this weekend to get a hang of the mods...
I am familliar with all the mods I listed above so if you want to get the general concept explained then just ask me. The only one I wont be able to explain in detail is TF2ware as I never played it myself but I've seen enough footage of it to get the general concept.
