ABOUT 'Total Overdose' for Digital Distribution

Max Payne + Grand Theft Auto + Robert Rodriguez, YEAH!

It was a good game, and I would love to buy it legally and non-physically on Steam!
Go look it up, it was badass.
A remake would be better, though! :D

Sure, you can get it on GameTap, but it's not the same thing.
Paying per month?
Leave that to Netflix and WoW.
So what if it's a 2005 game?

The player assumes the role of Ramiro "Ram" Cruz; criminal turned DEA Agent. He has been sent into the Mexican border city of Los Toros and its surroundings by his twin brother Tommy, who wants him to find out who killed their father Ernesto.

The player will be tasked with infiltrating and taking down the biggest drug cartel in Mexico and battling it out with dope dealers, banditos, corrupt Federales and Mexican Army, loco luchadores, guerillas, and other assorted bad guys.

Between story missions the player can do optional challenge missions as he or she wishes, exploring Los Toros and gathering bonuses to rack up a high score.

At the beginning, the player assumes the role as Ernesto Cruz, the boys' father. After Ernesto and the DEA attack the military in the jungle to take some info on Papa Muerte, Ernesto is thrown from the plane and killed. Colonel (Commander) Trust believes it's a drug overdose, however, Tommy suspects an agent.

While searching who is responsible for his father's death, he will have to kill, befriend and interrogate many banditos, gangsters and drug dealers to get to the truth.

Features:
A rich storyline taking the player through 18 different environments, from the seedy red light district of Los Toros, to the depths of the Mexican desert.
A free-style combat and stunt system to take down your enemy with more outrageous moves than you can shake a hot chilli at.
Cutting edge soundtrack featuring Molotov, Delinquent Habits, Control Machete.
Uber-cool characters and missions with a strong whiff of tequila.
Over 20 weapons: The better you get, the bigger your arsenal!
Use the real-time rewind system to make perfect killa combos!

(This group has nothing to do with Arizona's Bill 1070, unless you want it to.
Just don't make it political. [Can you still make things not political on the Internets nowadays?])
It just has to do with a game taking place in Mexico and the creator of the group is from Arizona, no animosity.

An alleged map of Total Overdose 2: Tequila Gunrise, the cancelled 2006 followup to the game this group is for. Thanks alot, Eidos, for not taking another chance.
