I figured out recently that seeds are worth more than their crop as long as its a reproductive crop like blueberries or corn.

I put one corn into a seed maker and it came out with 2 seeds. I then sold the 2 seeds and another corn. The corn sold for 50g while the seeds sold for 150g.

If you do the math, then you get more seeds for next years season, and you get 3 times the profit. I earn 50 000g a season now off of seeds from an auto farm about 60 tiles through the whole thing and 9 seed makers.

If that doesn't convince you then you also have the added bonus of a high chance of ancient seeds. Put the ancient fruit from your ancient seed into the seed maker and it will give more ancient seeds every time. Keep on repeating until your rich. Have fun!

One more thing. The ancient fruit are 550g each, but seeds are only 40g. So I don't recommend selling the seeds.
