Hello, and welcome!

If you are here from a reddit post we made, suggestion from a friend, found us on CS:GO Lounge, or simply found us, welcome! This group is completely free, and will most likely stay that way for a while.

Why can't I see predictions/analyses?

You have to join the group to see my analyses. Now, this group is completely free, but if I do get big enough, I will move to a cheap paid group.

Where can I put questions, concerns, constructive criticism, or comments?

You can put those in the group comments, or you can comment on posts, and we will respond as soon as we can. You will be listened to, not ignored.

Will giveaways ever happen?

Yup! We will try to do them if we're on a hot streak, or after a few weeks, or a big win, etc. But yes, we will occasionally do them.

Can we be friends?

As much as we would love to friend you, we do not want a full friends list. Sorry!

About Us

Our names are Jackson and Karan, or Rhodes and BrownyTheBrownBrown. We both live in Michigan, and are close friends. We both play way too much CS, and both love the thrill of betting. We're passionate about what we're doing here, don't worry.

Group Rules

2. Building off of number 1, constructive criticism is allowed, either to us, or other people giving advice! We love to hear what you guys think, what we could add, improve on, etc.
3. Betting IS gambling. You're putting YOUR OWN MONEY on the line. We're simply giving you our predictions and opinions on matches. You're the one making the final bet, and you lose or win the money. We are NOT responsible for any loss of money you make.

The End of the Rhodes Betting Group

Hi guys.

It seems everybody's preparing for the worst and this seems to be the end. I'd like to thank everyone that did read my analyses and follow what I said. I've put hours upon hours of work into the research and predictions and I'm proud of them. Thank you all, again.

What to do now? Well, withdraw your skins! I don't see why it would be very worth it to spend time making these predictions when we all should be working on making sure we get our skins out and turn that into cash. Skins will drop in price very soon. I'm personally going to use OPSkins to turn my skins into real money, avoiding the Steam Market, and I suggest you do the same.

Go ahead and bet while you can if you want to, but it just seems like a waste of time and money sense skin prices will fall and betting sites are shutting down. Sorry guys.

The End of CSGO Betting?

I was on the CSGO Betting Reddit when I found this:

To paraphrase, apparently a CSGO gambling site received this letter:

In it, it says:

"Dear Sirs:

Re: Violation of Steam Subscriber Agreement

We are aware that you are operating one of the gambling sites listed below. You are using Steam accounts to conduct this business. Your use of Steam is subject to the terms of the Steam Subscriber Agreement ("SSA"). http://steamproxy.com/steamstore/subscriber_agreement/. Under the SSA Steam and Steam services are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Your commercial use of Steam accounts is unlicensed and in violation of the SSA. You should immediately cease and desist further use of your Steam accounts for any commercial purpose. If you fail to do this within ten (10) days Valve will pursure all available remedies without limitation terminating your accounts.

Below that there were about 23 websites that violated the SSA. To paraphrase the letter, these websites are using bots to be a middleman so you can't do anything fishy. Just like you give your skins to CSGL when placing a bet. That simply violates the Steam Subscriber Agreement and Valve is done with it.

Explaining the situation. Karl Quackenbush is a real lawyer that I found online that went to the University of Washington for law, working for Valve since 2011. Richard Lewis is very skeptical of the letter and thinks it's a way for CSGO betting sites to shut down, disappear, and take your money with them. It bothers him there's no date, as "Valve" mentioned these sites had ten days, and that blue signatures (as Karl Quackenbush's is) is easier to PhotoShop.

In the end, I think the letter is fake. There's a lot of websites missing off this list that deserve to be shut down, it just looks and seems fake. Richard Lewis also thought the listing of the sites was informal, and it would be sent to these sites privately and individually. But, he also said he contacted Vale and that this was a "real, legal letter." So I have no idea what's going on. Safe thing to do here: WITHDRAW YOUR SKINS. Do it. You need to. These betting sites could take them so easily. This could be fake, it could not be. You need to withdraw your skins or you may lose them. Thank you for reading.
