eh? anyone?

I'm sure that just about all of you know about the new beta of Steam trading cards. They are cards that get randomly dropped while playing their respective game, and when you collect them all, you can craft them into a badge.

Steam is adding them for all kinds of games, including Left 4 Dead 2. But not Left 4 Dead 1. We need to try to convince them to add them for Left 4 Dead! When they post an announcement saying that they added more games, go and comment on it, saying that you want cards for Left 4 Dead!

There have been a few members of the group who have asked to be admin. Let me start this off by saying, that is NOT how you will get ranks in this group. To get mod/admin, you have to do several things.

1. Don't ask for ranks, it's a put-off.

2. Be a helpful and/or active member.

3. Be friendly.

4. Play games with group members.

5. Invite friends and others who would like to join this group into the group.


So that is the best way to get ranks in this group. Those of you who have been most active and helpful, just remember that you are most likely to get ranks!

This group is of a good size! However, it has taken us quite a long time to get to this many members. And to accomplish our goal, I think growing faster will greatly help our cause. So I am proposing that we change the group from an invite-only basis, to an open group. This will increase our size, but also leave the group open to trolls. However, that is what moderators are for. What do you guys think? Should the group be changed to an open group, or left as is? Tell me in the comments!

I am sorry for not having realized this sooner, but thanks to The 5th Survivor anyone is now able to schedule events, I was not aware of how to let you schedule events until now, so The 5th Survivor is the player of the week for helping me realize how to allow this! :)
