You all know that I am not super active usually, but hey, I am still here sorting some stuff inbetween! lol After we initially had a Twitter page (that I admittedly barely used), and then Twitter got taken over and now X is really turning to ♥♥♥♥, I made the decision to abandon it and instead make a fresh new account on Bluesky, that I will ofcourse try to use more regularily from now on! Another thing is the upcoming christmas days where I will have plenty of time to look more into making events and such again, as usual feel free to join in when something comes up that interests you, and for all those that allready are set up as supporters for this group, feel free to also create your own events. Those that don't have access to the event system yet, can just hit me up below this announcement, in group chat, on discord or wherever...for the price of a digital cookie I will gladly unlock you so that you can help bring more activity to this group as well!

Hello everyone!

The idea still stands...I want this group to get the activity push that it needs to really start having regular ressurrections for all kinds of dead games. I tried the idea with enableing event creation for all users during limited time frames, but even with online Admins there is the risk for things to become really messy and chaotic. Even worse than the spam of nonsense popups is the deletion of existing, legit events, Sadly Steam offers no option to separate rights for deletion and creation of events. Therefor: new approach! :D

The group will now consist of the following tiers:

Admins/staff: that can bann idiots from the group, work on improvements and so on

Supporters: the workforce of this group...people that create or simply join events, people that suggest games to get added to the group, that take part in group chat activity, Discord channel activity, you name it. We only had 45 game mods so far but due to the easier, faster access we will push that number massively now and finally everyone that wants to do their part for this group will get their chance allways! :) Supporters can and should post events as they wish, so that together we can bring this group's idea to life!

normal members: people that either idle around and have no actual interest in any group activity, or that are new to the group and want to see first how things work out here. Many of them will leave once they see we are an active group with popups and whatnot. But I can only point out again that this group is NOT about hoarding as many members as possible. It's about encouraging people to actually come together to play dead games together. We want active, engaged members, where quality counts above quantity.

The group will be open again for all new members, invite people whenever possible, spread the word! We will not get spammed popups again, but hopefully a lot more legit events that you can join! :D
