[ ABOUT ]

Reign of Winter is an open-world survival game taking place in a medieval-fantasy setting. The game is being developed by a small group of amateurs, fellow gamers that decided to make the game they have always wanted to play (will little to no experience in the professional game development industry).

Taking aspects from popular survival games such as Reign of Kings and Rust, we hope to create and share our unique vision in the once thriving genre.

Reign of Winter will launch as an early access game on the Steam platform and will continuously be worked on and developed to achieve completion as a fully released game. We plan on launching the game mid-2019. On early access launch (Alpha), we hope to deliver a solid foundation of a game that we can build upon.

We have decided to launch the game in its alpha state as an early access title because we simply cannot do this without you. An early release would allow our team to receive necessary funding to be able to continue development, in addition to being able to develop the game with direct and constant feedback from the community, influencing significant core designs that would have potentially become too complex to change in a late build.

After early access release, we will pursue other gameplay features and aspects outlined in our online game concept document[drive.google.com]. This is our general goal for full release.
