Introduction

Something that I notice in a lot of games is the lack of communication. This doesn't say that anyone is bad. However, to become more open to the game you need to start making calls. For instance, I often have significant troubles looking at mini-map and watching where my crosshair is aiming to see movement. But if the guys on the other map tell me what they see, I am able to move better and not focus on it.

This then comes down to how to make a call. As most of you notice I generally sit on the mic calling out everything and then detailing out what they are probably doing next. That is not good calling. A scenario would be if your outside on nuke ct side. "awp ak. 1 t red 1 mini." even shorter could be 3 outside. 1 t red 1 mini. The objective being make it as smal as you can but be descriptive. One of these being give the gun they have and where they are. That still means if you are rotating you are to think of where they can be.

One of the main things that people die from is that they will get a call and then when rotating die because the enemy moved closer. Dont be brain dumb. Just because one person is there doesn't mean they can't move forward or change positions.

Do not call useless things. One of these would be on nuke again. Playing rafters ct side above hut. "3 lobby". Some of you may immediately this is a useful call. But ask yourself why its important to know where they will automatically go anyway. Later in the round it can be useful when you are down to lower numbers but give a general area. Never give direct calls like I do a lot of the time.

Next we have communication with teammates. Those are calls too. If your awping do not be afraid to tell others around you what to do. Your the awper. Your main job is to get the opening kill to get the rest of the team into the spot. So dont be afraid to be up-front and getting things set up.

Later in a round you also need to call. This will tie into calling enemy positions out. I rarely see anyone but me call out what were going to do. That can't be happening. Feel free to spread open your idea's. What if you just want to hold instead of doing anything. Maybe you get that feeling that they are doing something and you know how to counter it. Speak out. Just remember that calls needed to be considered properly. Such as time limt, what they're setup is, current calls and what you hear.

If someone makes that call just follow through with it. Better to have the team following one call instead of multiple. With this becomes another set of calling. What you are doing. Often times a teamate and I wil be opposite sides of the map and I will not know what hes doing. That is a great mistake. The objecive is to work together. Never alone. So get on the mic. Make short sweet calls and move together.
