Invested, Positive, Fun

Hey everyone,

Due to personal life reasons and the state of the RL player base, I resign from this virtual position of club lead (you've all been leads all along and I liked it this way). I need the time to sleep more, play the games I have craved playing for so long, to work on my own game if I ever want to make it happen. I know my wife will appreciate too.

I am taking this decision as the RP has come to an end, and I have really been fed up with the player base lately. It is also the time I find I am making a lot of progress, and damn do I like the thrill of the speed, accuracy, reflexes and tactics all combined on the pitch. Those aerials, the crazy scores... I've had real fun with this game and don't think I can ever find something that thrilling again. In a way, and I can feel it, it's a bit of me that I chose to let die, and I feel it in my chest. I know however that it's all for the best. I won't have time to regret that decision.

I reckon we've had lows and highs, both in game and in our relationships, but that's part of life and hardships has a way to make you grow (unless you give up, that is). I regret none of all those moments spent with you. I'd continue playing if I could squeeze another 12 hours in each of my days. I'll miss the game, and the mates. Nice feats we've accomplished. Nice floor moping times as well. Overall though, a great experience that has lasted about 2 years, if not more. RL has become the game I most played according to steam (I might have spent more time in Baldur's Gate series and Neverwinter Nights series when I was 20 lol).

You guys now have Du as my successor. I've already handed the RL Club keys over to him. Be nice and he won't bite. ;-) Du's a young guy, but an experienced RL player. I have asked to remain part of this steam group. Consider this an "honorific" benefit ;-) cause I'd like to keep in touch with you all. Of course, you gotta make this place alive a bit or it'll be pointless. I also requested to remain part of the RL Club, in game, hopefully for no reason :P
