Press Start Australia was founded at the beginning of 2013 with the vision of creating content for all types of gamers/techies in Australia. It is the websites goal to provide updated gaming & technology news and reviews to Australians. Our reviews have a set structure that are easy to understand for the casual audience, whilst still in depth enough for the hardcore gamer.

With over 15,000 followers across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, Press Start has one of the biggest social media followings of any independent technology website in Australia. Our podcast was featured on iTunes’ New & Noteworthy section for over 3 months. Press Start was nominated for two Optus IT Journalism awards in 2014. It was nominated in the ‘Best Gaming Coverage’ and ‘Best Independent Media’ categories.
