Tietoa: Payday 2 Better Weapon Stats GUI Mod

This group exists for the discussion and distribution of the Payday 2 Better Stats GUI mod. The mod works by showing several important stats normally hidden to the player by popup when mousing over stats in the Inventory GUI, and also shows useful information derived from these stats, like Damage per Second and Shots to Kill. This mod does not alter any in game.

Go here[download.paydaymods.com] to download the latest version of the mod. Check the sidebar if you need a LUA hook to run this mod with.

Thanks to Seven for most of the framework for the Stat Popups, without his help this would have taken considerably longer to complete.

Its been a pleasure working on this mod as well as some good practice for my coding skills, but Overkill's recent actions have completely killed my will to do anything related to this game. Were it not for the pay to win microtransactions they recently introduced, I would have gladly updated this mod to be compatible with the changes they had made, even if the rebalance is of... questionable quality... to put it nicely.

That said, their recent AMA on reddit showed that they are sorry for nothing, and have absolutely zero intent to resolve all the valid criticisms raised.

If anyone wants to continue this mod, or just ogle the source code feel free to branch the github repository here[github.com] and produce an update, just be sure to credit myself and Seven for the work we put into it. If you succeed at making a usable fork for the Payday 2 in its current state and intend to keep it updated I may even hand over the reigns on the group so that it can continue onwards in my stead.

Thanks for all the past support everyone, it was an honor.

Update 4.1 is out! If you are using the BLT Hook it should automatically update, however if you are experiencing issues with auto-update or do not already have the mod you can download it from here[download.paydaymods.com] and drop it in the mod folder. If you lack that folder please download a LUA hook first as this mod is inoperable without one.

Changelog:

Added poison dot information to weapons and grenades.
Fixed bug where mods that had different stats for different weapons would not display their stats correctly (DMR Kits).
Fixed bug where if the last heist you had played was Death Wish shots to kill would be calculated incorrectly.
Fixed bug where the sentry displayed more decimal places than necessary.

@Lord Lunga You set it in mod options for the main menu. README.txt taken out due to the drag and drop nature of the BLT LUA hook, I viewed it as mostly unnecessary.
