After the war against the Italians, Portuguese troops occupied Mid Italy and created this new nation out of the ruins from the defeated Italian Empire. New Italy is a Protectorate to Portugal but have home rule and have a gouverment of its own. New italy is a Grand duchy.

From this day forth the construction of the Wall of New Italy will commence. This stronghold will safeguard the lands and citizens from neighbouring Empires as well as allow New Italy to obtain the admiration from other Nations it deserves. It will be occupied by the Milizia Italiana del Centro Italia and will surround all of our current territories. Only allies and Nations that have been given the right to pass through New Italy’s lands will be allowed access through the great Wall. In the circumstance of a forceful attempt to pass through the Wall, immediate action will be taken in the form of war against such a Nation. Let our lands prosper from such a happening and may the Wall of New Italy live long!
