Kurt Donald Cobain (February 20, 1967 – c. April 5, 1994), was an American musician who served as lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for the Seattle-based rock band Nirvana before committing suicide at his Seattle home in 1994.

Cobain formed Nirvana in 1987 with Krist Novoselic in their hometown of Aberdeen, Washington. Within two years, the band became a fixture of the burgeoning Seattle grunge scene. In 1991, the arrival of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" marked the beginning of a dramatic shift of popular rock music away from the dominant genres of the 1980s (glam metal, arena rock, and dance-pop) and toward grunge and alternative rock. The music media eventually awarded the song "anthem-of-a-generation" status,[1] and, with it, Cobain was labeled a "spokesman" for Generation X.

During the last years of his life, Cobain struggled with drug addiction and the media pressures surrounding him and his wife, Courtney Love. On April 8, 1994, Cobain was found dead in his home in Seattle, the victim of what was officially ruled a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head. In ensuing years, the circumstances of his death became a topic of fascination and debate.

Nirvana was an American rock band that was formed by singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic in Aberdeen, Washington. Nirvana went through a succession of drummers, the longest-lasting being Dave Grohl, who joined the band in 1990.

With the lead single "Smells Like Teen Spirit" from the group's second album Nevermind (1991), Nirvana entered into the mainstream, bringing along with it a subgenre of alternative rock called grunge. Other Seattle grunge bands such as Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden also gained popularity, and, as a result, alternative rock became a dominant genre on radio and music television in the United States during the early-to-middle 1990s. As Nirvana's frontman, Kurt Cobain found himself referred to in the media as the "spokesman of a generation", with Nirvana the "flagship band" of "Generation X".[1] Cobain was uncomfortable with the attention and placed his focus on the band's music, challenging the band's audience with its third studio album In Utero (1993).

Nirvana's brief run ended with Cobain's death in April 1994, but the band's popularity continued in the years that followed. In 2002, "You Know You're Right", an unfinished demo from the band's final recording session, topped radio playlists around the world. Since their debut, the band has sold over fifty million albums worldwide.[2] Nirvana are often credited with being one of the most popular and important rock bands of recent years.[3]

Vor fi 35 de echipe invitate din campionat, alese din clasamentul sezonului 19, si anume:

- primele 8 din divizia A
- primele 3 echipe din fiecare divizie B
- primele 2 echipe din fiecare divizie C
- prima echipa din fiecare divizie D

In cazul in care vor exista echipe care nu vor dori sa participe, ele sunt rugate sa dea mail la [email protected] si sa anunte aceasta, iar locurile lor vor fi oferite echipelor clasate imediat dupa cele care nu pot participa, in fiecare divizie (de exemplu, daca echipa de pe locul 3 din B2 nu poate sa vina, ea va fi inlocuita cu echipa de pe locul 4 din B2, si tot asa).

Pentru intrebarile cu mixuri, gratare si alte alea: aceste echipe pot obtine dreptul de participare doar daca vor castiga unul din cele 8 qualifiere.
