I've been given notes that the devs of SOS will listen to ideas I have on melee if they are agreed on by the community.

with the incredible amount of guns in SOS atm not a lot of people are able to fight enemies if they were without a firearm themselves.

I'm proposing fair/unbiased/ and useful melee tweaks that will benefit every player in the game without forcing people to run for guns.
