Insanity's Edge

Hi, I invited all my friends to join my group: Insanity's Edge. Insanity's Edge was the name of the first guild I ever joined. In 1998, I took over leadership of the guild when Utopia (enchantress in a game called Everquest) went AWOL. I assumed leadership with her blessing and from that point on I have always named my guild in her honor.

One accomplishment of Insanity's Edge is that we were involved in the first, and only slaying of "The Sleeper" in Everquest 1 while apart of the guild called Magus Imperialis Magicus. The sleeper was deemed to be an unkillable boss by the lore, in fact GM's stepped in 1 hour into the killing and despawned it, causing an uproar in the community and an eventual respawning the next day in which the boss was killed. This, was as far as I know, the biggest raid ever organized in EQ and maybe in any game as over 200 people were involved on more than 250 characters (dont quote me on this). I don't see anyone that is currently in this group that was apart of that accomplishment, but they're out there and I'm sure they'll be joining as soon as I find them again :) I appreciate you all accepting the invitation to this group, as I continue to love re-living the past.

Insanity's Edge continued to have impact in many MMORPG's, most recently Rift in which we were at one time the furthest guild in terms of progression on our server: "PVP & PVE." Individually, my claim to fame isn't being the leader of the guild that accomplished these things, instead the person that everyone that's been a part of IE can call a friend. I hope you all enjoy being a part of my life as I have loved being a part of yours and continue to fly the tag.
