The novels revolve around Happy Potter, an orphan who discovers at the age of eleven that he is a CS:GO extraordinaire, living within the ordinary world of non-CS:GO professional players, known as scrubs. The Professional world is secret from the Scrub world, presumably to avoid persecution of professional gamers. Happy's ability is inborn, and such children are invited to attend an exclusive gaming school that teaches the necessary skills to succeed in the Swedish gaming world. Happy becomes a student at Laurent de la Clergerie (LDLC), and it is here where most of the events in the series take place. As Happy developes through his adolescence he learns to overcome the problems that face him: gaming, social, and emotional, including ordinary teenage challenges such as friendships, infatuation, and quickscope competitions, and the greater test of preparing himself for the confrontations at the various MLGs and Dreamhacks that lie ahead.
