MAKE GMOD GREAT AGAIN

PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING A DECISION!

Yo, this is a group intended for people who:
- Want to see various ol' good Gmod gamemodes revived
- Hate cancerous community servers and want to get together with normal people on peer-to-peer servers
- Want to raise the playerbase of a good dedicated server
- Would like to enjoy and play Gmod the way we used to.
- Wanna simply enjoy some friendly sandbox
- ...and whatever else you can think of that makes 40-year old Gmod boomers happy

Nowadays, we do not see many active, non-cancerous servers dedicated to different unique GMOD gamemodes. There's DarkRP everywhere, the good servers are hard to come by, other gamemodes /new and old/ are dead, and most of the servers are ♥♥♥♥, their communities toxic and with stupid-as-hell overly restrictive rules. So while I sadly do not have the money, knowledge or time to make a dedicated server for any of the gamemodes, I would at least want to try and play with some of you guys on a peer-to-peer "private" server. Everybody can make a post whenever they want, calling people to play this or that gamemode at this or that time, or even this or that dedicated server if you found out it's worth it. Post your preferred servers etc.

So if you miss the old days of Gmod or simply wanna try something that is not so available nowadays, you are in the right place. If you don't care about this, then sorry if you were invited, and you can freely leave. Also, every single person that invites more /normal/ people who wanna play Gmod is making this little community bigger and therefore the chances to enjoy Gmod go up, so we'd all be happy if you do invite more people and tell them to do the same.

Some rules will maybe come up, but the real rule is to just use common sense, not be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, play fair and don't ♥♥♥♥ up other people's day. Be friendly to each other even if you are on opposing teams etc. You get the point.

- Stranded
- Ground control
- Razborka!
- The Hidden
- The Stalker
- Melon racer
- Melon bomber
- Flood
- Prop hunt / Hide and seek
- Murder
- Pirate ship wars
- Sandbox
...and / or whatever else the players wanna play.

If you find a good DarkRP or serious RP server, you can make a post about it, too. There will definitely be people who would like to give it a try.

Yo yo yo everybody, unfortunately we have a problem, and the problem is Steam. Steam groups used to give notifications to people who had them turned on. Now, from my observations, even after you do turn these notifications off and on again, they still dont work. That means it would be quite complicated to contact the entirety of the group population each time there is a plan to play something. This makes this steam group ALMOST obsolete.

What I came up with as a solution definitely isnt ideal, but its nevertheless a free and easy solution. Basically what I ask you is that you join a Discord server I have created that server the purpose this group was originally meant to serve, and that is to announce when were gonna play what gamemode(s).

Now, this STEAM group is not completely obsolete, and if you decide to invite more people to play with us, please do invite them both to the discord and here as well. The reason for it is that when there's some people online at a time when Gmod was planned to be played, yet they dont join, it is possible they just simply didnt notice the planned announcement. Therefore we write them a short message if they wanna join or not. Sometimes they didnt even turn on their discord for the entirety of the day, while they are online on Steam.
