These rules are and will be subject to change.
Server is devided in two seperate Areas (PVPpzone and nonPVP)
This is to make the server more playable- in the sence you build larger ships and can fight more with them without people stealing your stuff before you even get to that stage.
Optimization Reasons: Haveing this map config will reduce the active turrets on the server from all players.

PvP Area - up to 20 km around central beacon, when you enter it you will see a "Danger Zone" beacon appear near the central beacon on your HUD. PvP Area includes mining field
which is up to arround 10km away from the center of the map.
"No PVP Zone"- empty area above 20km where "Danger Zone" beacon is no longer visible. It's a place where you can build your base and ships safely. IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO ATTACK OR RAID/STEAL FROM ANYONE IN THIS AREA.

Server Rules:[b/]
#1 - Breaking any of these rules can result in a kick or even a ban.
#2 - PvP is only allowed in designated PvP Area (see above).
#3 - Attacking a player who is in the "No PVP Zone" is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate ban.
#4 - No ramming with any piloted ships, ramming is just forbidden.
#5 - It is not allowed to attack or modify a spawnship without its owners consent. (even in PvP Area).
#6 - It is not allowed to attack with a spawnship.
#7 - It is not allowed to approach platforms/ships in your spacesuit with the intention to deplete the ammo of the platform/ship.
#8 - Every ship/station must Have default name(i.e.:"Largeship 5767") renamed in infotab or it will be deleted during daily maintenance.
#9 - Only speak English or Dutch in the server chat.
#10 - An admin will have unlimited power to do whatever he wants to do with you and your resources when you fail to obey the instructions/rules.
#11- Your playername should be written in Latin alfabet characters.
Remember, your spawnship will most likely be removed during any server maintenance.

Rules to protect the server stability and latency, disobeying those rules will result in your ship being deleted:[b/]
#1 - Following active blocks are not allowed since they cuase server lagg: Sensor and Spotlight blocks
#2 - A maximum of 13 welder heads per ship/base.
#3 - A maximum of 13 grinder heads per ship/base.
#4 - A maximum of 13 drilling heads per ship/base.
#5 - Maximum amount of 25 turrets per ship/platform. Keep your turrets off in the Empire Zone/nonpvp Zone. Turn them on only when entering PvP Area. Admins will switch turrets off frequently.
#6 - It is not recommended to build in an asteroid (they will be replaced)

SImSpeed - Server stability improvement -Rules change

Hello everyone!
Finally i am able to post here on this page for announcements And updates:

SImSpeed: (server performace for everybody)
As you know the server has not been in the best condition since descember and we were getting problems on acctually how to maintain the server simspeed. Basicly there is Keen's optimization and the server got too crowded for a longer period and all the stuff of inactive players worked as a massive serverstrain -we had our suspicions, that enteties(ships/stations/objects) caused it(as it partially does) but also the amount of blocks that are on the server in total. Alot of admins went away at that time so there was too little competense to deal with the problems without involveing head admin to hours of work.

Problem is temporary fixed. As the only current active admin I will try to make sure that the server stays to almost it's best performance but has been challengeing since i've been the only active admin with the server trying to keep it alive and work on soloutions.

*Server stability improvement*
Soloutions to this problem which will eventually come again will be massive deletions of inactive players things. Basicly if you do not play in 2-3 week- you might not see your stuff there any longer because of deletion round or the server strain becomes too much - and there will be a deletion round. The deletions might be more frequent if there are loads more people are playing.

Warnings of deletions will be announced only in space engineers chat: And instructions will come in the chat so that very inactive players can just follow the instructions given. Either a week or 2 in advance.
I do Have to considder that people may be on vactions longer than a week. but i would encourage them to tell an admin(me for the moment)
I do encourage to not build too massive structures that would not be usefull in anyways in terms of fighting in the PVP zone - As they will contribute of slowing server down (it will not be noticeable at server at first) But when it finally does it only contribute to that we cannot increase simspeed anymore after performing a maintainance. And makeing more complications- and massive deletions have to be performed in order to stave of the bad effect superlarge structures has.

The main goal of this is to make sure every active players gets a good playing enviroment which is not affected by the trash of other players- who just build and leav.

Super large structures/ships i would considder to be 25000 blocks.

A element i wish for the server is too see more activity in the pvp zone with fights and not just building Arround in the "non pvp zone".

Rules will change slightly for now- There might become some new limitations on blocks - and it will be a subject to reveiw,but restrictions might be set to 25000 blocks 10 stations/ships like that will probably have noticeable effect on the server so again i do encourage for usefull/ fun builds that can be used for what everyone really want to do or see. BIg giant space battles : P (or atleast what i want to see)

Once server get populated again we might continue with Ship drops in pvp zone. Which players can fight for To gain controll over and move out of the pvp zone for excitement.

Hope the server will be come populated again. But still stable.
