Starting on June the 1st 2019 (06/01/2019), we as gamers will take a stand. We'll hold a protest on Steam by going offline with #ForClimateChange in our names for 2 days to show that we care about climate change and the risks it poses to our planet.


What We Do
It’s all about what we can do, together.
We must all – as citizens of the Earth – step up and come together. We believe that the fastest, most efficient way to do this is through modern technology and communication. Our goal is therefore to build the world’s largest social media network focused on climate change, allowing our members – you, me, my friends, your friends, our families, everyone – to be the change through the power of many.


Cause of climate change?

Global warming is caused by the greenhouse effect, a natural process by which the atmosphere retains some of the Sun’s heat, allowing the Earth to maintain the necessary conditions to host life. Without the greenhouse effect, the average temperature of the planet would be -180C.

The problem is that daily human activities maximize the greenhouse effect, causing the planet’s temperature to increase even more.


Why is it important and you should take action in your political and daily life?
The children of today, and you will be affected, in 2018 climate change affected 62 million people.
And in 2030-2050 climate change is expected to cause 250 000 additional deaths per year, from malnutrition, malaria, diarrheoa and heat stress.
Expected to be mass-immigrations and a strain on the economy. Years past 2050
