Some bad news

Attention

Hello,

I hate being the bearer of bad news gentlemen, but I have some that I’m going to be sharing with you today. As of tonight I have come to the conclusion that canceling the dedicated server was a reality that I had to finally contend with and accept, what with peoples school schedules and all the other aspects of life getting in the way. Though it was brief I wanna thank each and everyone of you who did participate in sessions and stay around to talk about the experience afterwards, that to me was hands down the most rewarding part about all of this and you guys helped make it happen no matter how brief.

It should be noted as I stated above, life is busy for a lot of us. Especially me right now, I don’t have the time to be teaching the black magic of SQF coding and taking the time to run the routine maintenance the server needs to stay in tip top operating condition. Couple this with the financial cost of running the server to the actual player base and you can see that this was an expensive endeavor somewhat per player slot. That and a lot of the fun in playing the actual game itself gets sucked into the vacuum of space having to deal with administrative problems, content and rule creation, you name it basically.

Again this is being done sooner rather than later based on what I have written above.
