Master Race PC gamers at GWU

Forgot to mention -- we're a registered student org at GW so we have access to SA funding, co-sponsorships for events, and the ability to book rooms for events/meetings. Looking forward to hosting a GWU LAN party in one of the marvin center ballrooms... how cool would that be?

I'm Arthur Zysk, co-coordinator for GW Competitive Gaming. Just wanted to add one thing to everything Michael already said (thanks btw for posting here) -- We absolutely support every game you could possibly want to play at our meetings. As long as we get people showing up who want to play something together, they are certainly welcome. The club environment is very casual and people are invited to come and go as they please - no mandatory attendance whatsoever. It's just an organization of GW gamers who are searching for a social outlet of gaming on the weekends!

Hey there guys. My name is Michael Chan, I'm a member of George Washington University as a Senior, as well as a member and somewhat leader of the Dota 2 division of GWU's Competitive Gaming club. Our club has teams in both the Collegiate Starcraft 2 League, as well as the Collegiate League of Legends groups. With the branching out of Dota 2 this season, our club will be forming a Dota 2 team.

Currently we have about 5 people, so we can form a lineup, but we're really looking for some more players as backups in case someone can't make it to a match, competition creators amongst our team, and just more people to show up to our meetings and have fun playing together. GWU Competitive Gaming is meeting today at 4 PM in Rome Hall room 205. We usually get anywhere from 30-50 people showing up per week, playing a variety of games such as Halo, Smash Brothers, LoL, Starcraft 2, and of course a bevy of Steam games.
