ABOUT Fuse Beta Testing

Beta Testers!

This is an invite-only Group for volunteers to beta test new features of Fuse and give feedback so refinements can be made before releasing.

Currently we are going to be testing the new Feature Adjustments (both with first-party characters and user imported characters), unified UV option (texture packing), and search! We also want to make sure all existing features still work as expected.

Fuse 1.3 Beta
  • Added the ability to copy existing maps from other Characters
  • Added a preview of the Clothing Mask when choosing substance input names
  • Added tons of helpful documentation to the Import Wizards

  • Improved blendshape generation speed

User Interface / Experience
  • Asynchronous substance rendering - faster loading times!
  • Better selection visualization
  • A very simple "toon" lighting mode
  • The background no longer has compression artifacts, and the grid pattern no longer stretches asymmetrically when scaling window
  • You can now press "Delete" to delete a clothing item when in the Texture tab

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue with texture packing when exporting texture maps larger than the packing size
  • Fixed Female Fit B-G shoulder issue when fitting clothing
  • Fixed a shader issue that could cause a white screen for some users
  • Fixed an issue when adding matching parts, then undo/redoing the action
  • Fixed a crash caused by adding matching parts with clothing
  • Fixed memory issue when loading files with large textures on Windows
  • "Reset All" in Customize tab now correctly resets to Virtual Asset's starting position

Did you guys just push a Fuse update? I got a 300MB update about 30 minutes ago but see no log.

the one complaint that I had about fuse, was the lack of customization after choosing the body parts (see blog post http://chillbackdigital.com/no-shortcuts/) . I love the fact that it is being addressed with this beta. thank you

I have noticed alot of hard work being done on 1.1 by the devs I like the new options so far its a much more evolved program.
