We only owned our servers, not the players.

Frostburnt Foundation was a community striving towards seeing that everyone who played on our servers were treated fairly and had the best time they can possibly have. Our administrative staff hailed from communities where players were beat down and suppressed so we understood the annoyance of abusive staff members and strived to ensure we didn't make the same mistakes. Our staff understood that just being an admin did not put themselves higher than a player on a human level, thus they treated all of our guests accordingly. You were free to have any opinion on our server that you desired - granted you didn't start a flame war about it. We may have owned the servers, but the game was yours, that's what Frostburnt was about.

We also understand good work ethic. This was reflected in our primary server, the Fallout Decay server. We would make updates weekly, sometimes even daily and we were always adding cool new features. If you had left the server for a month, you'd have to be prepared to come back to something new.

We have since decided to move on to greener pastures. Nowadays, you can find some of the old Frostburnt team working on a new project: Fallout: Resurgence; something that aims to be more ambitious than Decay ever was.

Shifting Focus

This isn't really an easy thing to say, so I'm just going to be straight forward. Starting today Nightmare and I will be fully moving away from Fallout: Decay and will be shutting the server down at then end of 4/4/2018.

Thank you all for sticking through all of this, not just the last few months, but for the last five years. After all of this time, It's time for all of us to move on. Going forward we want to dedicate all of our focus on working on Resurgence and I want to further my career as a programmer. We just don't really have any interest in working on or maintaining Decay anymore, especially when it takes away form us working on Resurgence, which will ultimately replace Decay anyways.

In the future, we're going to be making new forums from scratch for Resurgence and will be retiring these forums at the same time the server will shut down. As for the teamspeak, it will stay up for the foreseeable future because I'm too stubborn to move to discord.

All of us are thankful for the experience this last five years has been and I'm glad to have met the people I've met.That being said, we all look forward to seeing you in Resurgence.

Resurgence Pre-Alpha now public!

Hey guys, the Resurgence Pre-Alpha is now here and public!

"However, before you play, there are some things you need to come to understand.
First of all, this is a Pre-Alpha, meaning it is nowhere near finished. This is not the full game nor is it currently replacing Decay.
Pre-Alpha simply means we are releasing a product with a good base and we would like you to help us test existing content, find bugs, test balancing, and suggest ideas and improvements. Your characters may be reset at any time without warning. The game is not here for you to play so much as test and get a feel for. We need all the feedback we can get in order to make this game great.
Please also be aware that some aspects of the game have not yet been replaced. Like the Npcs which are currently using the Decay base but will eventually be remade. The HUD is currently a placeholder.

Anyone is welcome to join and test but we do have some expectations. If someone informs you they are testing something, please do not disturb them. If they ask for help testing something, we would appreciate it if you would assist them. Remember, the more effort you put in, the better the game will be.

Bizzclaw has decided that all bug reports and suggestions should be posted on the Resurgence steam group, found here.
Please join this group if you will be testing with us and post them on the Discussions tab.
For Bugs Please put [Bug] in the title. For suggestions, please put [Suggestion] in the title.

Finally, there are 2 servers. One PVE server for general testing. And one PVP server for weapons and combat testing. Please respect the purpose of these servers and try your best to find imbalancing and broken content. For the PVP server, please allow a few days before posting any damage related balancing issues as they have not yet been initially balanced." -brig

The IPs for the servers aren't applying correctly and aren't final, so just look for Resurgence in the gamemodes tab to join the servers.
